Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies (CICT) is a forward thinking centre of learning, home to the very best technology, studios, equipment and industry-connected tutors. Now in our 25th year, we provide a vibrant and professional learning environment for over 1600 passionate and committed students studying for careers in the creative industries. In 2015 the Confetti Media Group was acquired by Nottingham Trent University, increasing the opportunities for growth and success over the coming years. We are currently undergoing an exciting campus transformation, part of a £12m development programme.
We are after passionate, gifted and creative educators with skills in computer games development to join our rapidly expanding team to teach on our Games Technology provision. As an experienced games technologist, you will have the skills to work in at least one or more of the following areas – Character and Environmental Animation using appropriate techniques, producing and implementing audio into an engine environment, programming in Industry standard languages, Q/A Testing or Design Production and Management. Depending upon your skills you will deliver lessons in a range of areas such as working with Industry Standard Game Engines, Asset Production and Pipeline Processes, Games Design, App Production for a multitude of devices, and User Interface Design including Audio synchronization.
You will have industry related skills and be a great team player along with some or all of the following:
From planning lessons and preparing resources for designated programmes and modules to delivering enriching sessions and activities, and supporting students through group and individual tutorials, our tutors are at the heart of the student experience.
It’s essential that you are conversant with current professional practices within your field of expertise. You will also be educated to degree level and hold a recognised teaching qualification, or be prepared to study for one. You will have some knowledge or experience of teaching at further and/or higher education. If you have the attitude and desire to work in varied, dynamic environment and believe in an industry shaping vocational provision then we can guarantee you will play a key role in our success.
